Xander moving on to Amgen

Xander was the first member of the Frank lab; moving on to be an associate scientist at a major company!

Congratulations to Frank lab research assistant Xander Viray for his new job as an associate scientist at Amgen, a pharmaceutical company in Thousand Oaks, California! 

Xander was the first member in our lab, and helped me build it from the first supply orders and grad student interviews, on up to what it is today. Over the past six years, Xander was co-author of six of our lab’s publications; presented his work at regional and international conferences; and kept the lab on track by establishing and mataining lab systems and research materials and protocols.

While we are are going to miss his enthusiasm and can-do attitude here in the Frank lab, we are excited for his next adventure. Congratulations, Xander!
