Gabby is originally from Portland, OR, and earned her B.A. in Molecular Biology with a minor in Mathematics from Pomona College in 2025. At Pomona, she conducted research in the Liu Lab on lysis inhibition, a regulatory mechanism of Vibrio cholerae in response to bacteriophage ICP1. In addition to her academic work, Gabby was captain of the Pomona-Pitzer swim and dive team, where she became a two-time national qualifier, receiving CSC All-District Academic and All-American Scholastic honors. Gabby joined the Frank Lab in 2025 as a research assistant and is currently developing an assay to investigate chemical tools to study cannabinoid receptor signaling. Outside of the lab, you can find her swimming, hiking, reading, or traveling to new places.
